    Update No. 18

Hello, loyal readers, and thank you for sticking around for two whole years of me not writing. I thank you for your patience, and I wish to express my gratitude towards all of you, new and old, who have been enjoying Consanguinity.

I thought it was high time I posted an update blog about how things are going, so here we are!

I've started the next chapter... twice, in fact. X'D

Update No.13 -- WELL FUCK · 11:29pm Nov 11th, 2016

Um... yeah.

To all of you, my loyal readers... I'm sorry. I'm working furiously on a new chapter (singular), but it won't be the two that I wanted.

To those of you who care, I live in America, and... yeah. Let's just say that the recent election has been a bit of a... what's the delicate way to put this..?

Oh yes. A COMPLETE FUCKING GOD-AWFUL NIGHTMARE CLUSTERFUCK OF FUCKERY.

Yes. That.

As a result, I've been stressed out and wasn't able to complete a chapter on Tuesday like I wanted, so I'm working tonight to get one up before it gets too late. It might be tomorrow, but I'm doing my best.

I beg for your prayers and support, friends... and not for my writing.

I don't live in the USA. I live in Australia and the results of your elections still have a lot of us concerned. Regardless at the end of the day, regardless of who you supported we are all human and we need to stick together, especially those who are in America right now. You will get through this, you have pulled through tough times as a country before, you can do it again.

And take your time with your writing man, people will almost always prefer to wait for quality work that you are proud of as apposed to rushed work that you released because you felt like you had to.

I live here in the U.S., and I've been very worried as well. Still, we will survive whatever happens. We've survived this long, we will survive this as well. Take a little time, to center yourself if you need to. We cannot let this defeat us, even if it feels like the end of the world, we know that it's not.

If you need time to de-stress after that trainwreck of an election, please, go right ahead. We'll still be here when you're ready.

Thanks so much for your support, guys. It means a lot to have people both in and out of my country sympathize and empathize with what's happening. We'll all get through this together, and I'm sure we'll be stronger for having done it.
