Hey everybody -- sorry for the very, VERY long period of silence.
As you can plainly see, I have not been writing ponies. This is a fact that I'm slowly coming to grips with, along with the fact that I'm probably not going to finish any of my pony work. Consanguinity MIGHT be an exception, since I'm SO CLOSE to the end and it's easily one of the best pony things I've ever written, but I've learned over the past 5 years that I don't do well when I pressure myself to finish a project. I can motivate myself somewhat, but the pony fandom is just something that I grew away from and I'm not sure I can bring myself back, even for one project. That's still up in the air, but we're going to have to play it very seriously by ear.
The GOOD news, for any of you who are interested in my writing and not just the ponies therein, is that I HAVE, in fact, been writing a good deal in the past few years. I've been really working towards my own properties and my own stories, with some Dungeons & Dragons fanfiction based on my own adventures in the game mixed in -- as well as finding that I love drawing and designing clothes -- and I've finally made both a deviantArt and a Twitter account for my future projects:

I've been writing and drawing pretty consistently in the past few months, and I finally feel like I'm ready to take the next steps into my writing and creating life. If you'd like to come along for the ride, you're welcome to do so, and I'd appreciate the support. For those of you who are disappointed, I understand and I apologize, though I hope you'll also understand why I've moved on. And for those of you who simply like my pony stuff and do not wish to follow my other work, I understand and respect that decision.
I won't be taking my stories down or anything dramatic like that, but I'm probably going to (eventually) go through and mark them as... unfinished? Or whatever the thing is. XD And I hope you will enjoy the things I put out in the future!

I was wondering where you'd run off to. There are plenty of people that have been kinda fading away from the fandom, so I figured you were one of them, and I was bummed that Consanguinity probably wasn't going to get finished. But I'm glad to hear you're at least going to try!
