Then how does an earth pony shower?! Aaaaaaah!

4287827 So they press the button which causes two magic-infused crystals to touch. The two crystals spark which sends an impulse of neutral magic into the cloud, triggering the cloud's latent magic shifting it into an active state which causes it to generate rain. What stops the cloud from electrocuting you in your own home, though?

4288237 the lightning is friendly to pones

That is so adorable.

4287555 Well clearly they lick themselves clean, or they go and take a bath in the river.

Honestly though, we know that ponies have indoor plumbing due to the Ponyville Sauna. Clearly the showers would have lever knobs

4288417 Of course, but why not take Equestrian Logic to eleven? I mean, if a changeling can turn into the gayest deer-bug I've ever seen then anything is possible, right?

4288432 because changelings are not equestrians

4288580 I have a theory that Equestrians are the Orks of the MLP universe. They shape everything passively just by existing. If they believe that something inherently good looks frilly and ridiculous, then so it is.

4288773 Which kind of Orks are we talking about?

4289425 Oh. Alright I'm slightly unfamiliar with 40k so tell me more.

4289577 Well, to make a ridiculously long explanation short...

A powerful race of idiots decided that making a race of beings that can alter reality with their assumptions was a great idea. Therefore, Orks believe that certain colors can have different effects. Black is indestructible, yellow makes massive explosions, red makes things go fast. So on and so forth. If the Orks collectively believe something, then that becomes reality. Thankfully, Orks are stupid and don't all get along well. A clever Ork is incredibly dangerous, and a clever Ork that is persuasive is death incarnate. A ship with engines painted red can travel at ludicrous speeds, even for soft science-fiction. An Ork with all-black armor can shrug off attacks meant to vaporize armies. Additionally, I'm sure you've heard the term "More dakka!" This is in reference to the Ork belief that more guns firing at the opponent means more damage, regardless of caliber. Also, if those weapons have spikes and such, it has to do more damage, because it looks like it can to the Ork mind.
