I've missed this site. Last year, I went through Some Shit over the summer and fall, and then I got engaged in November to a very nice man.
We get married in five days, and I had noticed a lot of registry gifts coming in all of a sudden with real names attached that I did not recognize.
Germany is kiboshed, unfortunately--lots of rl stuff going on around con-time.
So, instead, I'll be at Bronycon so I'm closer to home :)

And I've seen some really fun ones over the last years, sometimes ones that seem counter-intuitive like getting a notification a story has been added to ThisFicSucks and the Favorites list at the same time. I've learned to nod, chant "People are weird," and write on. My *highest* read fic with darned near 35k first chapter reads is poking along with 62 downvotes, and some of the weirdest bookshelves...
Do authors see notifications for all bookshelves or just public ones?
If notifications go out for private bookshelves, then I have probably puzzled a few people with my "idiosyncratic" labels...

I created a private and an unlisted library with "[Private Test]" and "[Unlisted Test]" in their titles and some additional text that I typically put in my library names.
I added one of my favourite stories of yours to both libraries, so now we shall see if you get notifications for both.
