H'okay... So... Fun and shenanigans started Tuesday night when I went to get Syl from the airport...

Wednesday was spent zooming around and doing last minute errands... Like getting more e-cig fluid for the trip... Which had the added bonus of me introducing Syl to Rusty Taco... It may sound weird and a little sketchy, but their tacos are AMAZING.

Syl is part Spanish... So his approval of this place should tell you something.

Anyhow... Jinxy wanted me to drive him to work so we could pick him up in the morning and blast out of town, which made life easier for me so that I could pick up the badge-ponies I'd commissioned back at CVG from the artist since she didn't live that far away from where Jinxy works.

Well... We pick up Jinxy and discover that he'd not put a few things in the car, so we're gonna have to go back to the trailer... Bugger... Oh well... So after picking up the badge-ponies, and getting stuff from the trailer, we wind up leaving about when I expected we would before Jinxy decided he wanted a ride to/from work.

Around 11, we pulled off in Osseo because of this amazing place called "Norske Nook". It's so fantastic... They have this amazing entree... and don't even get me started on the pie, which is literally to die for.

We wrapped everything up at noon, and headed out... Of course, Pen required photographic evidence to appraise her of our progress... so I snapped this before we pulled out of parking for Norske Nook.

Anyways... aside from some crazy traffic going into Milwaukee, we arrived in decent time... To see Pen being an utter fangirl mess with Calm.

Pub trot was good times, but I lack pictures from it. I met a guy working Security for the con that has a pretty sweet job in northern Chicago, but we were bonding over stupid shit coworkers pulled.

I took this during the Friday DeLancie panel... Just 'cause. It was AMAZING to see him in person!

I managed to catch these guys pretty quickly... Because awesome! They even had working mics! It was amazing!

I would just like to note that it was HILARIOUS to see Queen Chrysalis leading Edward Elric in a waltz...

Also of note... Calm and I waltzed (or at least attempted to) at the Gala... I would note that we were hampered by the music not being the proper tempo/beat, and the fact that I was wearing five-inch stiletto platform heels.

We went and got lunch at the mall Saturday afternoon. It was good times with everyone.

Super awesome cosplay I ran into in the vendor hall!

Troll Squad has determined that Jim Hoxworth needs this plush in his life... the only way it could get better is if it were grey and had a black mane instead (representing his OC, Hoxton)

So... we were just chillin' on the second floor near the concert stage... And this group of people came up behind Pen and started watching her draw... Yes... They were admiring her work... Please note this incident for later, as apparently one of them was an artist themselves.

I FOUND THE LUNA SPARTAN!!! HUZZAH!!!!!!!!!! And then I was finally able to get all three of them together! YAY!!!

BEST CROSSPLAY EVER!!!!!!!! **goes off into a fangirlish whirlwind, shouting random things about Sailormoon and MLP**

So before Zol and I went off to the Sponsor dinner... Someone made a sign... And Syl held it up over Pen... Much to her mortification and embarrassment. It was hilarious.

So I finally met the guy that had the freaking Spitfire car at the MoA parking ramp that I was salivating over a few years ago! Apparently, his vanity plate thing got mucked up though, so he'll have to reapply for it.

And before Changeling 32 had to leave, we got a group shot!

So remember those admirers Pen had earlier in the day? Yeah... One of them was an artist and was doing some small commission work on the second floor common area after the Vendor Hall closed... Apparently, they told Pen outright that her art was commission-worthy and she could easily make some money drawing... So she crawled back up to the room and proceeded to curl up on the couch, completely borken.

And then NightScribbler, who was with us at the time, decided that Pen needed to have Nightshade atop her...

I don't remember what exactly Syl made a pun about... but... Calm decided that Syl's punishment was to be thrown over his shoulder like he was no heavier than a backpack....

So Sunday, we all went to the Guest of Honor Panel. Turns out? Sunday was Peter New (Big Mac)'s birthday. So there was a HUGE parade of people coming in, throwing confetti, carrying balloons, and most particularly of note... a cake.

After the GoH panel, Syl and I went to hit the autograph line because we had to get autographs and in particular, our pictures with JOHN DELANCIE!!!!!!!!!!

Syl had to use my phone to take the picture because his phone is lame and has no memory on it. Ah well... Anyways...

NOW FOR THE LEWT HAUL!!!

Because I was an "Awesome Alicorn Sponsor", I got a grocery bag full of lewt... That I added to...

I got a bag, and Syl bought me the flask because I'd scooped up the last New Lunar Republic flask for him.

So I replaced the Loyalty/Rainbow Dash keychain I had that broke... but they had no Kindness/Fluttershy keychains... Ah well... I did score the other Element Keys as well as the Wonderbolt pin!

Also because of my "sponsor" status - I got a special badge.

And what's a badge without badge RIBBONS?!

And this is the commissioned badge-pony I asked for back in July that I picked up Thursday morning...

Dest picked this up for me... He thought it was appropriate given that I had gone on the Pub Trot.

I picked this up so that John wouldn't be stuck signing my Star Fleet Engineering/Security hoodie.

And I saw this... As a huge fan of Angry Orchard? Seeing this made me giggle...

This was included in my Sponsor Lewt bag.

So I grabbed one of the last ones at this patch booth... Oh man... it was so awesome... I couldn't NOT get it!

Though this stein was specifically because I got a ticket for the Pub Trot

This is the mug that all Sponsors got. It's pretty fantastic.

Again, Sponsors at Alicorn and up got a special Halloween edition plush from Cutie Corral of one of the con mascots... I elected to get Caramel Malt... because Witch costume!!!

And because apparently, once you have one, you can't stop from getting more... I got Sunset Shimmer... because again... I'm a fangirl...

More of me being a Sunset Shimmer fangirl... And considering the moment this represents from Rainbow Rocks? NO ONE CAN BLAME ME!!!

I saw this and it was just too cool to not get... Primarily because Sylvian uses this sort of uniform for Reservist Wonderbolts during Canterlot in Flames.

Zol snagged this for me. It is pretty!!!

Pen drew this for me to get signed by Peter New... I am pleased by this... And I got cake out of the bargain too!!!

Again, Pen drew this for me... And Vincent Tong loved it because he gets a lot of hate for his character being Flash Sentry and a very vocal crowd not liking the Flash Sentry/Twilight Sparkle ship.

And because I gave him love for the character, he let me snag one of these too!

This is my last payment to Snowfire for helping me get some collector dolls from the Disney Store of Aurora and Maleficent... I already had mostly paid her back, but I went to the vendor hall to get an artist to do something for me showing Discord in Q's Starfleet uniform. The artist fangirled so hard when I told her I was gonna get it signed... And then fangirled even MORE when I showed it to her afterwards. She took a picture of it even!!! I love that it went over so well!

EDIT (2016, November 4th, 1842 CDT):
So... I'm a silly azure faerie and forgot a few items in my lewt haul because I'd already attached them to my person and subsequently forgot about them...

As you might imagine, the reason I forgot to photograph this is because I immediately pinned it to my jacket (and I actually had it on my dress at the Gala).

Purchased at the same time as the medal, I had to get the Star Swirl coin... One, it's freaking STAR SWIRL THE BEARDED!!! ((And anyone who's read what Syl did - with my help - in The Fall of Roan knows why we hearts our Derp Swirl.))

Purchased (along with most of the badge ribbons) at the Everfree NorthWest convention booth, I had to show my love for Sunset Shimmer (Bacon Horse!) and Fluttershy (Quiet Horse ). I got Party Horse (Pinkie Pie) and Fashion Horse (Rarity, of course, dahling) for Jinxy.

I snagged these cell-phone charms because... well... I couldn't not. The one with the pi symbol represents Polyamory, while the other represents Demisexuality. :D I am more than willing to discuss these concepts and inform people if they have questions, but that is not for this particular forum.

Anyhow... We wound up heading out around 6pm, much to Pen's sadness because she'd already had to say goodbye to Dest and was not taking departures very well... Jinxy, Syl and I made really awesome time getting home, and got back to the trailer at a quarter to 1. We stayed up for a little while, but we all wound up crashing pretty quickly.

Since then, we've mostly just been chilling around the house... Syl departs by plane tomorrow afternoon, and I go back to work tomorrow night... It's been an amazing vacation... It was great to have Syl over, and it was SUPER amazing to finally meet my mini-me (Pen) in person. She's such a dear girl. I hearts her long time.

The only way this weekend could've been more awesome is if Jim had been able to make it.

All that said... I have now posted my blog detailing CiderFest... you can expect your regularly scheduled rantings about work starting Thursday.
