Ch8 of Minutor Crystallum

So... Thanks to copious assistance from Jim, I've managed to finally finish chapter 9, so that means..... I can post chapter 8!

I know. Don't fall over from shock. I'm hoping the gap to finish chapter 10 won't be another 6+ months, because there are a few things that need to get sorted out first, and I also need to trap Avellana to get her OC for it... Not sure when that'll happen because of time-differences and her shifts with work, but it'll happen... Or I'll beg Jim to do some stop-gap work and see if she approves...

I'll burn that bridge when I get to it... Hopefully not while I'm on said bridge.
