As they advanced through the empty, freezing place, Isaac noticed a chest in front of him, curiously devoid of any obstacles such as rocks around it or keystones. It was just waiting there, for him to take. “What’s in the box?” Kindness wondered. Isaac hesitantly opened the brown-and-silver chest, wondering if this was a trap.
Instead, a Trinket popped out, its purple, phasing double loop hurting Isaac’s eyes.
“Endless Nameless?” Honesty wondered, staring at it. “Why was that here?”
Loyalty shrugged. “Maybe it was randomly generated. Regardless, it’s useless to us. Come on, Isaac. I think we’re going the right way.”
Isaac reluctantly agreed, sparing one last glance at the trinket. Why was it there? What purpose did it serve? His Mind artifact was whispering to him, telling him… that it wasn’t his problem.
How odd.
Huh. I guess that cryptic message at the end of YDB makes sense now? Kinda?
