Also I usually like to watch the show with a buddy of mine over voice chat. His power got WWE Superslammed by Hurricane Matthew last week, and we finally got to watch both last week and this week's episodes tonight. Spoilers abound below for those who have not seen the episodes yet! And so what was the consensus of my brain cells?

Also in less-trivial news, Where The Apple Lies was an all-around treat for me. I absolutely loved seeing so many characters a little younger than present day. Also some crazy good character development for Big Mac, which is always appreciated. The big lug is half of my OTP after all, and I just love it when he gets to say more than a simple "Eeyup." Also this more firmly cements his ability to speak so exhaustively when in drag, a la Brotherhooves Social. Good shtuff indeed.
And the episode from this weekend was just as good, if not slightly better from an unbiased standpoint. (Story here was slightly better, but the Cheerimac nod and young Apple Horse Clan makes me favor the prior episode.)

Seriously, even though I found Sky Stinger to be a bit of a schmuck, he was much better when humbled. Also Vapor Trail is hecking KYOOT. The episode's writing was great, and Spitfire was totally on point. Loving the characterization we got these last two episodes!
Also there is absolutely no way Vapor Trail and Sky Stinger could not be snusnu-ing in a romantic relationship. If sitting next to a pony on a park bench is enough to get the shippers around here to go nuts, then it's safe to say that that THESE TWO MUST BE IN LOVE.
I REFUSE TO BELIEVE OTHERWISE.
Quick update on story scribbling before I go. Learning Curve is still sort of in limbo with getting an editor, but I have a good feeling that there might be some content coming in the next few weeks. Take that with a grain of salt, obviously, but there's still the possibility of it! Reminder: If you're really curious, I keep a progress check updated on my user page. Every time after a while I get some stuff done, I make sure that thing is communicating that to you in raw, undisputable numbers that are really just rough estimates based on my own observation. Here's hoping that I can finally get out of this funk and get some more Cheerilee wordage out to you!

Also there's some hella tax benefits to getting married, so it makes sense that Cadance and Shining Armor would enter into a bromantic relationship.
