    Merry Christmas

As the title says, Merry Christmas to you all. And best wishes for a prosperous new year! Here is a chapter of Desert Prince as my gift to you. More will be coming, but remember, I've got to deal with the slower pace I've been able to write, so patience is really appreciated. On other good news, I have a chapter of Herding Instincts written, and another chapter of Irony's Tale ready to go. They

    Upcoming Chapters

Sometimes, I procrastinate. This message is one that I’ve been procrastinating on doing. And for that fact, I apologize to you, dear readers. I’ve got a bit of a story to tell you. First off, I’ve been consistently releasing a story chapter every two weeks for quite a while now, over a year since I cut back from once a week to every other week. Some of you only follow one or two stories, so just

    FRIDAY!!!!!

I've got 3 chapters of Herding Instincts (well, the 3rd is in progress), two complete chapters of Desert Prince, and three of Irony's Tale. And of those eight chapters, 2 are edited and ready for release. So, let's say we get some chapters out into the wild, huh? My face is utterly numb, thanks to the dentist. And I want to get chapters out. So, let's go, this friday, we get a release.

Five Score: PSID (Pony Special Investigation Division) · 12:44am Sep 29th, 2016

Other authors and I have been talking...

By the year 2021 it has become obvious that there are still many ponies left on earth. More than had originally been anticipated. As well, humans around the USA. and the world, have continued to change, even after the fall of Discord. Due to the special nature of these people, the US Government created a new branch of law enforcement.

The Pony Special Investigation Division's job is to investigate crimes by and against ponies in the USA, as well as responding to crimes against US Military and Civilians world wide. Dedicated to finding the truth, the agents of the PSID operate under the Homeland Security umbrella.

Ponies may have been left behind, but they are not forgotten. These are the case files of the PSID.

Good idea for a story?

Me like. Please, go forth, and do great things!

I'm working on the ideas, playing around with them. But if I do start this story, there will be an open invitation for other authors to put their own stories in it....full credit for it...of course.

this is going to be one awesome collection of story's.
and it is more five score as Luna would say huzzah the fun has bean doubled.

That synopsis sounds like the intro to Law and Order. I'd read it.

Sounds decent. Not quite sold on the premise, but I'm interested in the time period after the portal closes and what happens to those that are left behind for another 2 1/2 years.

You should go for an Alphas formula.

4231979 Time frame wise...it will be jumping all over the time frame. From when the ponies go public, all the way until 2045 when the last five score pony appears. And maybe some after, if an author comes up with a good story for it. I'm working on one section myself. But this will be more of...an anthology of actions happening during that time frame I would think. This is still a nascent idea.

4232011 I've never watched Alpha's got a cliff notes version I could review?

the more I think about this line of story's the more I am liking it.
it will give any author free range to just cut loos and be creative.

4232078 Superhero show that deconstructs superhero tropes. The show's about a quasi-governmental group of these superheroes and follows a "Villain Of The Week" format with overarching plotlines. Basically there's a new Alpha every episode, and their job is to investigatr and usually capture these supervillains.

So like that mixed with a CSI/NCIS vibe.

4232563 That sounds quite interesting.

4232767 It was an absolutely amazing show.
The "team" consisted of a psychologist, a man with super-strength (over-firing adrenal glands), a man who can see the full EM spectrum and can interpret the data of the waves (he's barely-functioning autistic, the only brain rigid enough to do something like that), a man with perfect aim (incredible hand-eye coordination), a woman with super-senses (she gets overstimulated easily), and a woman who can "Push" (iirc it causes brain damage to the person she pushes, and she's practically a sociopath).
They fight crime.
