Seeing as "The New Timeline" has gained a few likes and some heat (now over 700 views for the first chapter), I would take the next few days to answer some questions regarding the Jongojiverse. The Story is linked below so those who haven't read the story as a whole (though it does need editing for many of the chapters) can read that before reading this post.
What and Why was Galgameth was Created?
After the failed invasion at Canterlot, Chrysalis took the time to reflect on her failures. She hasn't accounted for Princess Luna and Schnookums, a beast most Equestrians thought was extinct. By the time she regains her army, Equestria might gain enough allies to overrun every invasion. She must instead adapt with the growing trend: Technology. Harvesting the remains of her fallen, and a few raids in computer factories, the techno-organic machine known as Galgameth is created.
If Galgameth has biological components, why doesn't it move on its own?
Of the dead material, none of them had an undamaged brain. If using fragments, the machine would be rendered insane. And so a host would be needed.
Cogsworth wasn't the first subject, isn't he?
Chrysalis used her POWs, all of whom becoming brain dead after ten minutes of being hooked into the robot. When she decided to focus on child subject, Cogsworth is the first subject. Seeing her experiment successful, she has plans for a select few larvae.
