Day 6: Horsing Around and Around Again · 3:29pm Sep 6th, 2016

Those who have read my fics often notice that I use horses separate from ponies. Almost as tall as Alicorns, and rival in strength as their smaller cousins, yet rarely appearing in the show.

Now, one reading my stories for the first time would possibly comment, “Silly Jongoji, horses are the same as ponies.”

Yes, I know. But I more specifically referring to forms like these.

Though officials say these are still ponies, I still feel they are different enough to be a race of their own. Especially when a character by the name Trouble Shoes is clearly shown to be taller than his fellow Appaloosans.

You also notice that in the Equestria Girls stories, I, like some, have the Apple Family own horses. Out of all of them, only Big Boy, the horse seen in “Friendship Through the Ages,” is the one to be named. The others have names.

Flea Biscuit: Their draught horse with an introverted personality, but a kind soul nonetheless. Despite her name, she had more ticks than fleas and so had to be showered often.

Old Soldier: An aged thoroughbred. He can only be ridden by kids. He isn’t without surprises; use a laser pointer once and he’ll throw a horseshoe at your hand with deadly accuracy. Do it twice, and he’ll throw a hay bale so far, you can only drive three feet before getting a dent on your hood.

Chili and Pepper: Not exactly in the Apple's possession; Spoiled Rich had them housed at Sweet Apple Acres. Chili is an Arabian hot blood, and Pepper is a Paint Horse.

Applegin: Another Appaloosa like Big Boy, but lacking the speckles on her hindquarters typical of the breed. Also, displays a buzz cut.

PS: As of now, I got all The Rubicon chapters finished. Will keep to the update every two days to give time for refinement.
