So I just woke up... · 12:10pm Sep 5th, 2016
...from the most terrifying dream I've had in a long time; seriously, it was fucking terrifying...
So in the beginning of the dream, myself and about 4 others were just entering some small cramped form of shelter, trying to hide from something. After a little while, two guys in suits try to get in and we don't let them, so they leave without issue... but that's not the terrifying part.
After a while, everybody's bodies start imploding on themselves like they're being liquefied slowly from the inside, as if they were infected with some body-melting disease that takes several days to kill the infected. So I'm laying there almost immobile, with two of the people around me disintegrating around their stomach regions, it's all very graphically gorey, but I can't hear anything and everything feels fuzzy, but then all my senses fade into sharp relief as the two people who are already doomed to death are freaking out, and don't even get me started on the smell. It was about the time that I realized I was doomed to that slow painful death too with no way out of it that I woke up.
I'm not going to be able to get back to sleep...

Tagged my fic because I could...
Dude, I know what that is like. I get nightmares once or twice a week.
I don't recall any of my dream upon waking.
However, I'm well aware of the debilitating effects of nightmares.
I went over a month on 5 hours of sleep a night, rarely seven hour nights, because i had a nightmare so bad I never wanted to dream again.
4193389 The weird thing was, it wasn't a nightmare, just a really fucked up dream. What makes it scary is that in this world we live in, a release of a bioweapon could do something like this.
