Good morning/afternoon folks!
As some of you are no doubt aware, I'm a bit behind on the next Mente Materia chapter, missing my usual 'once per month' update schedule I've been maintaining. First things first: the next chapter is still in progress and I'm making progress... albeit slower than I anticipated. I think part of the reason for my delays is because of my medical leave. Prior to my leave, I would write before work and on my lunch break nearly every day, which resulted in a steady stream of progress. Without that mandatory schedule (and the fact that work takes me away from my desktop computer/games) I find myself slipping a bit with my intended writing quotas.
However, I'm planning on going back to work starting next week. It's my intention to pick up the pace on my writing once that happens for the reasons listed above. Thanks again to everyone for your support thus far!
ALSO, on an unrelated note, Discord Alarak is going to be entering Heroes of the Storm either this week or next. For those of you who are not familiar with him, Alarak is High Lord of the Taldarim in Starcraft 2 and his voice should be rather familiar to everyone here. However, I'll give you a hint. One of his attacks in Heroes of the Storm is called Discord Strike. The default hotkey for it? Q Well played, Blizzard.
Anywho, to folks playing Heroes of the Storm, I'll be around for that off and on.

Aside from the stellar music, Alarak was the best part of Legacy of the Void. John de Lancie has practically mastered the "ancient, smug arcane manipulator" role by now and his delivery for Alarak's lines were a joy to listen to. God only knows what would happen if de Lancie's voice roles were to actually meet. My money's on the universe collapsing inward due to the unfathomable amounts of smug arrogance gathered in one location.
Anyway, best of luck with the final installment of Mente Materia. Have a MLP/Legacy of the Void crossover pic.

Good to hear from you, and I'm curious to hear how things are going with your leave and getting your head sorted out. It sounded like you were having serious issues before, but I haven't seen any indication of issues like that recently so it sounds like you might have things figured out and moving forwards now. Also....

Ah yes Alarak, now if there was only a good crossover with MLP, Starcraft, and Star Trek I would be really happy.
