Guy couldn't even do magic for most of his life. He was just that kid with a useless horn who was seen as a failure of his race. He was often compared with "mud ponies" (Earth ponies). Heck, he didn't even have their strength, and add on the fact that the guy can't fly and you've got an abomination, as some ponies 'kindly' pointed out. Isn't the world nice?

I would say more but I've been busy the past few weeks and I still am. You'll learn more in the story anyway.
