If you've read enough of my stories, you understand that my characters speak very intimately and candidly about themselves and those around them.
If you've read my Starlight Glimmer stories, you know my Starlight is a very complex pony who has lived a complex life not understanding the basis of any of her relationships. On top of this, my Starlight (except where I end up going AU in Rediscovering Harmony, and then only specifically), fits in a very stealthy way into show canon, if you assume she's very tight lipped about events in her life—as probably you or I would be, under the circumstances, especially were we similarly blessed with the opportunities and the chance at redemption she's received.
This brings us to another aspect of Starlight: The stallions in her life who love her more than she loves herself. Though this new story is rated M for mature, it is strictly R-rated. I hope you'll consider reading this story where Starlight is even more candid than usual when I release it this Monday or next.
