Suddenly, FREE TIME! · 6:33pm Aug 26th, 2016
Once again, life has taken some interesting turns. I'm out of a job, have to sort out some insurance crap (which is stupid) to continue therapy, Pokemon GO took the world by storm for about two weeks and then started hemorrhaging players because Niantic didn't think to hire a PR guy at the time (on top of all the bugs, though many have been fixed or changed to something functional), the latest election cycle is an absolute joke, and Godzilla returned to Japanese theaters (saw the new design on the web, had a nightmare that night; found the movie soundtrack and it's probably best movie score I've ever heard). Oh yeah, and I successfully blended my pure Synchro strategy with Pendulum Monsters... and then Konami managed to murder the entire deck by dropping it to 37 (no more Monkeyboard, and Pendulum Call is at 1; there goes all that consistency I worked so hard to find). At least everything ELSE on the list made sense- well, except for Kaiser Colosseum being banned and Thunder King Rai-Oh going to 2.
In any case, I've now got entirely too much free time, so I went back to Many Futures and started making actual progress again. I just have to finish describing Rarity's duel in the next chapter and it'll go up. After that, I have to finish the NEXT duel in the series: Paradox vs. Twilight vs. Rainbow Dash! Three-Way Battle Royale!
As some may recall, Paradox's programming has been corrupted after he lost to Antinomy, and he now serves the Black King. He has challenged Twilight to a duel, but she intends to duel with anger as she hasn't forgiven him yet. Rainbow Dash also joins the duel, still feeling a bit guilty about the fight she and Twilight had just before Aporia's failed siege attempt. In all of this, I will also go over the explanation of Paradox's existence one more time, while simultaneously introducing a new Synchro Monster for him: Malefic Remnant Dragon!
Fans of the CW's "The Flash" will immediately know what's going on and can will be able to make good guesses as to how the card works. I don't think you'll be able to make the EXACT guess, but you'll get close.
