Starfleet Fact #1: Twilight Blamed for her Death · 12:40am Aug 2nd, 2016
The first of many for people who can't seem to get it straight.
Twilight Sparkle was killed off in Starfleet Magic Season 3, episode 16 "Win, Lose, or Die"
Celestia was being threatened by Raven, an evil assassin who wished to kill her to avenge the death of her husband (Celestia was inderectly responsible for his death) After many failed attempts on Celestia's life, Twilight, disobeying all cautions and orders, chased after Raven and attempted to fight her. Lightning chased after her in attempt to stop her, but no mater what Twilight refused to stop and even shoved him away.
In the end, Raven proved to be far too powerful for the two ponies to handle (which was anticipated by many before) and Raven struck Twilight down without mercy as a warning to others who would dare get in her way of going after Celestia, and Twilight was gone!
After which, the next episode has everyone mourning for the loss of Twilight, yet Twilight is given the most of the blame for her death, as is Quoted...
Celestia placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. She really didn’t like what she was about to say, but it was the truth and Lightning had to be told it, again. “It is not your fault, Lightning. Twilight was the one who did wrong. She was told more than enough times not to go after Raven, not knowing how powerful she really was. We all knew how high the risks were.”
Krysta nodded “But it didn’t make any difference to her. No, Lightning. She deliberately disobeyed orders, and acted without thought.”
And it IS the truth, no matter how hard other people complain about it, the way it is portrayed is flat out clear; it was more Twilight's own fault that she died.
-She was told more than enough times not to go after Raven herself, as they had no way of knowing how powerful and how dangerous she really was.
-It is not Lightning's fault she died. He tried his best to breakup the fight and get Twilight back (as were his orders) but Twilight continued to ignore his warnings and refused to stop and even shoved him away. Not to mention Raven was involved too and pushed him off many times so he couldn't save Twilight's life.
-It is not their majesties fault either. They initially believed Raven to be not much of a threat, (As royalty, they get threatened and blackmailed every day of the week like in real life, and just like real life, they also have a reputation where they don't scare easy) It was mainly their problem and no sense in getting others involved, even after the revealed Raven's identity, they ordered it perfectly clear that even if Raven was spotted NO ONE... under any circumstances was permitted to try and confront her! (They had next to hardly any knowledge at all of Raven and how powerful she was)
-Not knowing how powerful Raven is due to inability to investigate, lack of vital data or anything that can be useful, and other things, makes it foolish to go after her. Even though Twilight was trying to defend her former teacher's honor, as noble as that was, just running off into battle like that against such a foe is neither brave nor honorable... it is just plain foolish.
Again, Twilight had no right to go after Raven the way she did not knowing how powerful the enemy was. She disobeyed her orders, she wouldn't listen to others, and she acted very foolish and overconfident. If she had done as she was told and not gone after Raven in the first place, she wouldn't have been killed.
It is incontestable, and exactly as I wanted it to be: Twilight Sparkle died (In my series) because of her own foolishness. Raven may have killed her and is equal to the blame, but it was Twilight who did the bigger wrong by going after her in the first place.
In Starfleet Initiative should NEVER clash with discipline.
I see that it is her fault for dying but I can see why she did it.raven tried to kill celestia way too many times.I can't even imagine the rage twilight would be feeling seeing someone try to kill someone who is practicaly her mom if only she just stayed maybe she would have lived

That's what I keep telling everyone, and even wrote it so even a kid can understand. Despite Twilight's intentions, she had no right to go after Raven (But I was planning to kill Twilight off no matter what... out of spite and out plot use)
But the bottom-line is, if we're going to survive in this war, we must follow orders.

That's true unless we lost communications or illusion magic was involved other than that better to just bear it bear the emotions even if it every bone in your body is telling you to stop her stop her!

Yes, rules of war are the same (follow your orders, or your own judgment) but regardless of what you choose, DON'T get carried away.
This relates to the Superior/Inferior thing. Twilight may WANT to take Raven out, but the fact is... CAN SHE? She may have the right ideas, but she doesn't have the power or resources.

Tho after thinking I realized it Is both twilight's fault*don't do this you have so much live for!*and lighting and his team's fault for not helping her and yes I know you hate her and this would the perfect opportunity to end her but story wise it makes lighting look like celesto's order surpass the duty to help the innocent*twilight* and what made raven so different than every other villian they face at this point.sorry for nickpicking it is just this part is like the one I dislike the most and I know you made this to show that the magic of friendship isn't real and for your own reason I just can't help but feel sad for her passing in this fic

Lightning tried to help her, the others had to go battle another monster, and no matter how hard Lightning tried to stop her, she wouldn't listen.
4699301
Oh then lighting and friends you have been pardon and sorry for thinking you would betray her.thanks for telling me
4699302
I think you should read the actual chapter...
Season three episode 16 "Win, Lose or Die!"
4699310
Yeah I should but still thanks for telling me you help me see lighting has a alibi
4699312
Besides, it wasn't really Lightning's fault anyway. Twilight was TOLD not to go after Raven, but she didn't listen
4699316
True in that regard*if only she was stronger and had backup*
4699323
Raven's had 1000 years of training, even their supreme royal majesties can barely stand up to her,
Lightning and Twilight never had a chance
4699330
0-0 okay then I see your point.this is one of those have celesto deal with her moments*at least that what I feel
4699340
Celesto cannot help her. I have a BEAST BOY in Equestria story... but only the original MLP's are in it

Oh I see
