Hello followers!
I'm considering opening Patreon account for my writing.
(tagging My Little Rainbows as this will largely affect the progress of that story)
Here's the thing. I enjoy writing, I really do, but in the past few years I have not written substantial enough to say I write. What with University taking up my time followed by a job doing the same after that I have had absolutely no motivation to do anything creative, save for a few days every now and then. It's affected me badly, my mentality in particular, as I've spent the last year living in a state of working in a profession I really don't like and then waiting to go to that job. Add on top of that living with a "friend" who made mine and my other housemates' lives awful (so much so we felt homesick for the house we live in) and me losing sleep over a girl I no longer have in my life (lost sleep over that. Not used to that.), I really have just not been able to do the things I enjoy. Not even video games have helped! It's not been a good year for me...
Anyway, back to the topic at hand. The problem facing my writing (and other creative outlets) could be solved if I began to do it more professionally. I need money, that's a thing, and I'm likely to face a brief period of unemployment in the next month or so, meaning a need for money would be increased. Fortunately I am forced to move back in with my mum so it's not too bad but it's still a thing. Although, a lack of job isn't a bad thing. Not having to work as much at a job I hate would improve my mind, as would the increased time off and regularity in my schedule. Hopefully this will lead to one thing...
MORE WRITING!!!!!
I haven't forgotten a thing. All my plans are constantly in my head being built upon and improved (My Little Rainbows has taken huge strides in my mental plan). Everything in my head is still there and ready to come out. And my writing ability hasn't decreased during my Hyper Hiatus, at least not by much. The only thing missing is the motivation and discipline to put fingers to keyboard.
So my question is: If I make a Patreon account, would people give me money?
I know it's cheeky to ask given how little I've put out in the past 4 years but this is a chance to see that amount explode, with regualr updates and content being uploaded.
Of course, everyone who gives will be given bonuses, such as sneak peeks and even free story comissions, but that will be decided upon at a later date if it's worth making a Patreon.
So please get back to me with whatever your thoughts are, whether they are yes, no or just further questions or doubts, whatever! I just need feedback.

Well, based on the views your stories get and the amount of followers, I think Patreon is a good start.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I think it would be a good idea as well. It would be good for everyone, as my followers would get the content they deserve and I would probably feel better for actually doing something I like to do.
I'm gonna do it!
At least I will look into it and get it done either today, tonight or tomorrow. I will post another blog with updates and such shortly!
