A scene from a story that I'll probably never do.

Possible title: The Quest for the Moon Pie

So I was thinking about making a short story within the Lunar Night universe where Luna sends her most loyal guards: Echo and Nocturn. To Walmart for one simple task which is buying her moon pies while of course shenanigans ensue because Luna decided to troll her two guards and not tell them anything about what went on there.

I probably just won't do it because I just feel that even if I enjoy the hell out of doing that, it just won't be received well on here and I'm not in the mood to be disappointed again.

So here it is... a scene from the story.

Walking through the aisles at Walmart, Nocturn was starting to get impatient. "Where in the fuck are those Moon Pies at?" Nocturn grumbled.

"Hey ... bat pony! Wait up a moment. I need to tell you something!" A man called out, running up to Nocturn who had a confused look on his face.

"Uh... can I help you?"

"Look at me!"

"I am."

"Look. At. Me!"

"Dammit human! I already am! Out with it!."

The man in question quickly took out a stick that had a picture of a certain's man head on it, holding it over his face and mimicked his voice.

"Another settlement needs your help. Here, I'll mark it on your map."

Nocturn stood there blinking his eyes in disbelief at what just happened. "What the fuck? Who are you? Who is that face and what settlement needs my help?"

The man almost wanted to facepalm. "I thought you was Lunar Night. He would laugh at that."

Nocturn couldn't take it anymore and snapped, flying up to the man's face, glaring daggers.

"Do I look like him to you? He has dark blue eyes. Dark. Blue! While mines are gold. I don't know the details of what he and his coltfriend did here. But, my name is Nocturn and I'm here with my buddy Echo while we search for the glorious Moon Pie that Princess Luna wants. Don't make me bite the stupid out of you."

"Bite you say?" The man grinned seductively and winked. "Why not come to my place and show me what those fangs of yours can do?"

Nocturn backed up a bit looking creeped out. "What...? Sorry to ruin the moment but, I'm straight."

"Oh..." The man looked at the floor.

"Yeah .... say... do you happen to know where I can find the moon pies?" Nocturn asked, looking up at the guy sheepishly.

The man turned around and walked off. "If you were gay then I would help you... yet you ain't so no, I'm not going to help you. Goodbye." And walked away causing Nocturn to throw up his hooves in frustration.

"DAMN YOU WALMART! HAVE MERCY ON THIS BAT PONY!"

But! I might make a short story with Echo (OC from /mlp/ I believe not the one I mentioned) and Night Wing involving a laser pointer.
