A Little Talk · 10:41pm Jul 12th, 2016
I really don't talk to you guys much, do I? And not just here in blogs. Used to be that I would respond to most comments, but I barely even do that anymore. If anyone were to look closely at my activities here, they'd probably notice a decline in activity in general. Rarely a blog, rarely a story, sometimes a comment, yet always logging in to check on things. Some might even think I was losing interest in the site, or possibly even ponies in general. Maybe they'd even think that it was only a matter of time before I finally caved, finally came out and said that I was done. Said that I hadn't worked on any writing at all since my last collab finished up. Finally drop the charade and admit that I just don't care, and just have no desire at all to write anymore. They might come to the conclusion that the ride was over. That it was a hell of a ride, that I had a good run, and that I can look back on my exploits here with a smile. That you guys have been great. That maybe, just maybe I'd be back at it someday, but not to hold your collective breaths. That it crushes my heart to say that it's over, but it looks like it is. That I was officially retiring from writing ponyfics.
One might think that.
But, I mean, that'd just be absurd.
Right?
Yeah, some people just think too much.
I'm...I'm very confused.
Losing interest in ponies? Pfft, of course that would be absurd!
But to be serious, it'd be a real shame if you left. You're an honest-to-oranges awesome guy.
I know dat feeling.
Watch out. After reading that, someone may take a look at your derpibooru artist tag looking for clarification.
It's kinda like with SorcerusHorserus: after seeing her dA one thinks her art is pretty sfw. Then you find her nsfw tumblr.
Hey, I haven't been in the fandom as long as you, by extension on the site as long as you, and it wasn't long before I left my cruddy fanfiction here and left to pursue other things. I've seen you gravitate more towards art in the last few months and I can say you'll still have something to fall back on even if this is the end. You have a new interest and you're going out to explore it. But don't think you'll be forgotten here. The thing about leaving a mark is there will always be someone who remembers your name, and you left a mark of 371 people. On behalf of all of us I wanna say, "Good luck."
