But ya, the new chapter is out, and this one gets a little strange. No spoilers, so you will have to read it. But this was one chapter that came about as an answer to a problem the lest chapter made, one that was not originally planned to have, but as time went on, and I got closer to the end of the ark, more the idea of it grew. When I got started, it all just fell into place, and I got tap tapping. In truth, I think I got myself into a point in the last chapter where a deus-ex-macina would be needed, that is unless I made it a hole chapter that explaind everything. ehh... saying any more would be telling, but any readers of my first story will know what's going on.
So life's not been the most fun for me lately. I'll save you the drama, and just say that I've not had the energy to wright all that much lately, I still get some down, but not as much as I like to. There is some hope things will get better at work, but from what I've heard, the owners are utterly ignorant to the situation. It's simply that nobody want to work at our place, and there opening up another one in a few months... ya, ever seen a place close down because a lack of workers, I think I will. But all I can do is hope thing turn around, but untill then, I'm going to be on my days off being lazy.
Lets not get too depressing, and talk about something fun.

Yep, the cybernetic super-solders that the republic made. The basic idea was to have them as a counter to the Specters, a major threat, but less in numbers. Their connection to the CCN keeps their sanity in check, but their super ego bleeds out, making them a more individual personality among an army of collectivists. The idea for this is that even though the CCN helps keep the ponies connected, strong, and able to respond to threats quickly, they mostly lack original ideas, or the ability to quickly adapt. So the creation of a reaver is for the response to an unknown factor. All of them have something uncontrollable about them, from Theremin's gender Identity, and attachment issues, to Blaster Bream's excessive violent tendency's, they are ponies who could never conform, not even when they want to. But this makes them unpredictable, dangerous, and unaffected to having everything but their brain striped away, and replaced with cybernetics. For the most part, their inspiration comes from Racter from "Shadowrun Hong Kong" who is a sociopath that could get cybernetics without it damaging his essence. This character could be seen alone in Waterphon, though sadly I couldn't use him much in the story. But the basic idea is there, and down the rode, if I ever have any new reaver appear, be sure they will be interesting characters.
Well considering what they did to that last Reaver last chapter, I kind of see why they would be a boon as well as a dangerous risk.
