So, part of the reason EDM Death Machine hasn't updated is because I've been hard at work designing Vinyl's new body. Like, hard at work. After several initial failures construct a plausible design advanced enough to actually fit within the setting, I came up with a temporary design. Something that could easily be cobbled together in a few days, given the level of tech the Division has comparable to our own. Which, apparently, is a lot more advanced than I thought. Because we apparently already have considerably autonomous robot horses. Go figure. Anyways, my design below the break. The image is pretty big, so yeah.
Hastily crafted sheet metal body?
Check.
Shitty pneumatic joints?
Check.
Ridiculously complex pulley system for the hind legs?
Check.
Tacky gussets for the joints?
Ugh. Check.
Disproportionately sophisticated neck compared to body?
Check.
Bitchin prosthetic horn?
Fuckin check.
Rudimentary life support systems?
check.
Somewhat decent CPU to aid in body movement?
Check.
Inability to run, trot, or even walk very fast?
Check.
Overall shitty design?
Yep. Checkaroonie.
Determination to design something better with newly acquired robotics knowledge?
You bet your sweet ass check!
