Stuff that hindered me and Fan Art. · 10:19pm Jun 14th, 2016
I mean, other than my own procrastination and getting distracted by little videos and games. There has been a few things.
There are two things that have hindered me. The first one was this 'well it was bound to happen and I am still not happy about it'. The second thing was out of nowhere and affects me far more than the first thing could. Granted the first thing was rather violating to begin with.
This first thing was being exposed to some smut of HB.
"But Jet! If you don't like it, then don't look at it! This is the internet, hur, hur, hur, hur!"
Yes. Yes it is. But this individual came to me asking if they could draw something. I told them No. And to never draw me. They said that was kinda mean. I told them in so many words that I didn't care. Please don't do it. They did it anyway and the result after it was brought to my attention nearly made me throw up. And I felt violated.
The situation further blew up because I didn't know not to feed the 'artist/troll'.
Suffice to say, 'yay for them, they taught me a lesson about not feeding the (incomprehensible muttering here), good job, I can say that I really hope that they (more incomprehensible muttering involving death, destruction, and what have you.' And that I don't like it brought up.... Even though I just brought it up.
That's the paradox for you. You can't let others know that you don't like something brought up without telling them that you don't like it being brought up.
Now the thing that is Really important to me, and whatever piddly little pixels posted on the internet can wait.
A few months ago, my girlfriend was being plagued by some terrible pain that was hitting her arms and more importantly and even worse, neck.
Finally not being able to just shrug the pain off, we went to a doctor and found the source of this pain.
Herniated disc in her neck. There have been many tests done, and she's been put on different meds to help with her anxiety over the situation, due to the fact that, yes, surgery will have to be done to replace the disc/s. Unfortunately that will take time as there is a bunch a Brussel Sprouts to deal with in regards to whole health care system.
We will get it done, it's just a matter of time and patience. However, seeing the one you love in pain that you can't see or do anything about is a thing I wouldn't wish upon some of my worst enemies. ... some of them.
But those are the two things that have been hindering and distracting me.
It seems a bit weird to segway this into fan art, but into the fan art we will go!

Well, like you said yourself that first thing was bound to happen one way or the other but I get why it upset you. Lord knows everyone reacts differently to stuff and it's not mine or anyone else's job to tell you how to react when stuff like that happens. All I can say is, sorry and hopefully it'll be the last.
As for the second item, that is indeed far more worrying, but it sounds like your doing everything you can for her so just keep at it man. You'll both get through it.
I've yet to read your latest chapter but I'll get to it sooner or later.
As for the art, is that going to be you if Ponies After People happen? Lol if we turn into the characters we write about then crap, I shoulda made mine about a pegasus.

Also, it's not fair! Why'd you get a sprite walking? I finally got the side-face thing from Genbu. All I needed now was a fighting is magic of Psycho and Sociopath and a sprite walking.

Yeah, read it already and really enjoyed it. I even pondered writing my own story in that setting (like everyone else hehe) did. Mostly just teasing you about the cute picture of HB to try and cheer ya up.

Well, I can't do anything about a herniated disc, but next time when someone asks to draw a picture of H.B. that you don't like, try telling them that you hate that stuff, and you're gonna block them, but don't tell them not to do it. Tell them how it makes you feel, and what you're gonna do, and how terrible they are for inflicting that on you, but never tell them not to do it. That's why you feel violated. The picture itself is just ink on paper, but what you did was tell someone not to do something, and you were helpless to stop them. Easy pickings for bullies. Tell them to leave you alone and block them if you like, because that is within your control. But don't tell them to draw a mare Y-rated only, because there's nothing you can do if they don't, and it hurts when that gets shoved in your face.
Just go look at the comments on this image, whenever you feel like telling someone not to do something.

It continues to hurt even more when they decide to include you in a follow up drawing that has a mass of ponies involved in various sexual acts. And even though they didn't put you into an overtly sexual situation, they still did this without your permission and it floods into the comments below. Which is what they want.
It continues to get under ones skin when they redraw that first piece of highly offensive, overly gratuitous, sickening drawing that involved tentacle-plants, saying that it was 'commissioned by an anonymous donor on secondlife', only to have the name of the source of the
'drawing'include 'thank-you-heartbreak-pony-x'Like that's not him begging for me to comment on it. Well, you're not getting a comment from me at all. I learned my lesson in all of this.
Stupid yutzes are stupid and will do anything they tell you not to. Because them's a jerkurses.
Well, both of those things really suck.
Hope your girlfriend is relieved of her pain as soon as possible. Have an aunt who is suffering from the same thing.
