    The next chapter is ready to go shortly.

    As a consequence of personal growth I now have all of the bad habits and none of the excuses for the timetable. What I can say is that I've been looking forward to writing some of the upcoming scenes for years. This is a strange thing I do—that I still don't believe when I explain it to myself. Thank you all who are crazy enough to stick with me!

I tried something different for the next installment of Borrowed Time. I wrote Two chapters at once to make sure they flow together. I'm still not sure how well this worked, as I completed the second chapter before the first, but either way, expect two new chapters relatively quickly.

I enjoyed chapter 9, but did you mean you had chapter 10 also done, or what was chapter 9 the two chapters you spoke of merged into one?

I wrote about 3,000 words while on vacation before finishing chapter 9. Based on chapter 9's revelation I wanted to make sure I wrote the aftershock correctly.

I'm waiting for my editors' opinions on whether it's too short, or if it can stand on its own. If I need to extend it, I need to find something that won't whiplash the mood too much.
