Well May has now passed, so I suppose it's time for another update on my writing. Here's how this month went:

I'm pretty disappointed in all those zeroes, even if I did meet my writing expectation for the month. It all pretty much happened inside the space of a little more than a week, which doesn't really lend well to me setting up any sort of consistency. I could make the excuse that my last final was on the 10th, so I had to end up worrying about that pretty heavily, but after that I was really just being lazy, honestly. I actually found my recording of this exact same thing this time last year, and I ended up getting around 34k words done over the month with a much more consistent pace, albeit still somewhat erratic around the month. Anyway, this month has been pretty decent as far as progress goes; I got out 40k edited words in the space of about a month. I can almost guarantee that I've never been that productive in all of my three years of writing here. I'm gonna bump up the goal to 35k for June since I made this one. Let's see how that goes.
Anyway, I'll put a short plug for You, Who Killed the World in. I showed it off in the last update and it's out now. First time trying the longer, dramatic story and all that. I'd appreciate if you'd check it out and tell me what you thought of it.
I'm kinda disappointed in fimfic after an exchange on One of my stories, so I don't feel like talking all that much. Until next month, I suppose.
I'm going to guess that the exchange about the child abuse/discipline is the one you're speaking of. I won't bug you with it or anything like that, but I WILL say that I definitely think you're in the right.
Sorry to hear you had it out with another user on a story again. As great as an author as you are, you shouldn't have to put up with that. Take care and I hope you feel better soon.
