No spoilers here, I thought it was alright, I liked the characterization however I do feel the Applejack-Rarity opposing interests idea is a tad bit overdone by this point in the series. I wish they would do like a Pinkie Pie-Fluttershy episode or something like that that hasn't really been done. Oh well, and overall it was an okay episode in my opinion other than that. Probably just one of the less memorable from this season I'm guessing. Looking forward to next week's episode with Fluttershy's brother quite a bit. 
As for writing, I think I'm going to finally finish my story Applejack's Stetson Hat which I really have always wanted to finish, and then start a new multi-chapter fic of most likely. Probably a romance and maybe adventure of some kind, but I haven't decided yet.
