Update: Computer Back in Action · 4:24pm May 25th, 2016
Welp, that's a dead $200 hard drive.
I had to wipe my only other working drive in order to make it work, but the desktop is back in action. I didn't lose anything of any real major note, other than some video game progress. I can recover that, eventually. I guess.
The critical mistake though? Not immediately fixing the Time/Date settings once everything was re-installed. I thought I went to bed at midnight when it turned out to be 2AM. Wooooooo.

Anyway, I should wrap up this 4 hour of sleep blog post. Lord knows I might get loopy.

Since the newest *buntu LTS, the system clock has been a pain.
I just set the system clock to local time instead of UTC (which is generally frowned on) to keep Windows and Lubuntu from resetting each other.
How 'bout that Captain America business eh? Bit of an uproar.
