So I've offered commissions for a while now and even made an adopt, but I've gotten next to no interest. I would really love some feedback. Copied from my deviantart journal . . .
Why don't you get commissions from me?
1. You do art? Since when?
2. Your art's not good enough
3. Your style is weird/I don't like it
4. You charge too much
5. I don't have the points/money
6. I hate paying for traditional artwork
7. I forget you exist most of the time
8. You're annoying.
9. Other (please specify)
Thanks for answering! It really helps me out.
Info for reference . . .
I would like make some commissions
I'm not that active on deviantart nor do I have much money to spent.
So I would go with number 5.

3945125 You could totally do language commishes, Despair!
3945172 I'll think about it
Hey there Brooke. my reason is #5. The truth is, I have considered asking for commissions of yours in the past, but I'm not a core member of DA, have points or much money at the moment. I will keep you in mind when that changes... how do commissions work exactly? I've never done them before.
I'm'a go with #9: Real life (PM me for details).
So yeah, nothing personal.
If I have to be really honest... I have two reasons.
One of them being I don't have any money to use. Well like bank money that is. I kind of don't have a card yet.
Two, not that I'm trying being mean or anything since I seen your art for a while now, I'm take a guess that most people appeal to a more cartoonish style of art for MLP characters. Your art style is fine, but yea, most would lean towards the other way.
(I'm really sorry if I do sound rude or make you upset in any way. I'm really not trying to hurt you or anything like that, I just want to tell the truth since you look like your looking for whys not lies.)
3945317 Ditto.
I could have absolutely sworn I posted a reply to this, but it's gone. Watch; it will turn out that I posted it on some other random thread somewhere on here, and whoever I replied to is gonna be all like:
Back to the matter at hoof: Mine's a variation on the last option. I don't commission art all that often. Both times I've done it have been semi-random right-place/right-time situations; it's just not something I sit and think about. Though I will admit I've considered doing it again from someone very talented who was in a jam and needed some cash to get them by; but they ended up being OK and they were busy and it didn't work out.
I really like both avatars you've done for me. They have such a great style; expressive, but cartoony. The funny thing is, when you advertise that you have commissions available, oftentimes it seems like you advertise a less-cartoony, more "horsey" style. It's good, don't get me wrong; but it's different enough from the style of the show that it might be a harder sell for some fans.
