Wow, life is one hell of a rollercoaster. I've been on all sorts of ups and downs the past year and it feels kinda like I'd need a story unto itself just explain everything. The short of it is that I've finally taken the plunge, jumped far off into the deep end and gone back to school, moved into a new place, went through at least two bouts of depression, quit my tabletop group and lost touch with some good friends as a result, found motivation to write and immediately got sick for three straight weeks, got depressed again and super stressed out trying to make up for being out for so long, lost my health insurance and nearly ran out of my mental health meds due to hours lost while sick, got health coverage with my county and barely got my meds back yesterday with only a single day without them; just in time to be able to study for my last final exam for the semester and somehow manage a 98 on it today.
Despite all that, and everything else that happened, I've still checked in on fimfic everyday and it has provided me with more than a few surprises. Despite my lack of writing I kept gaining new watchers, as well as numerous notes and comments asking— urging —me to keep writing. Ya know, it's easy to feel like no one cares about anything you do. And yet, to see so many people I've never met reaching out to encourage my efforts, to not just thank me for what I've done, but to also ask for more, is heartwarming.
Now, today, I finally feel like I've caught my breath. School is done until the Fall and there's nothing immediately pressing going on to steal my attention. The only problem left is: where do I even start?
I feel it is worth noting, that I've spent a lot of time the past few months actually planning things out. Unlike before, like way before, I have a much more detailed idea of how I want Twilight's Bird Feeder and Fat for an Alicorn to go. So there's a fairly strong conflicting desire on which I should start with, or if I should start with something short and one-shot-ish to shake a bit of rust off. I'm sorta an undirected ball of motivation at the moment. And that's where this blog comes in. After putzing around all indecisive-like for the last couple of hours, I decided to ask my followers:
What do you all want me to write first? Twilight's Bird Feeder? Fat for an Alicorn? Something else (give me ideas in the comments)? Tell me in the comments what you want to see! Also, I'm totally up for just chatting or answering questions.

Purely from a "what I've enjoyed the most so far" I'd have to say start with Twilight's Bird Feeder. That is one seriously fun fic, so far.
But, from the sound of things, I don't think you should do that first. Though I haven't published anything in a long time, author to author, if you feel like you have all this "writing energy" I'd say just start writing something. It might take shape, it might not, but if you're anything like me, before you know it you'll have 10k words of unpolished.. something typed out and half that many new ideas that have popped into your head that may or may not be related to your past, current, or planned future content.
At the end, hopefully you'll be more focused, and you'll have a bunch of new ideas, including a better idea of where you want to focus your own energy.
