Hiya!
Tomorrow I plan to post the last chapter of Spring Fling. Well..it's midnight...so I mean today. I'm no longer exactly on schedule due to that illness, but I'll manage as best I can. Next up is Gryphon Empire, and, due to how late my timeline has become, most likely the second Mauxie story will be after that. Perhaps when that one is up I can finally link them together. Having a link from this story to the other one would be confusing right now. I think.
I suppose that story and edit wise, I always go for romance. Pretty much every story I have been a part of involved it somehow. But, Spring Fling and Gryphon Empire don't really count as romances, so I just figured I'd explain a tiny bit on why.
Every one of my stories have planned shipping in them. It's just, some are longer to get to it than others. I enjoy slow builds, even if it means writing an entire story to serve as the background for the next shipping story. Maybe that's a little silly, but, that's pretty much what Gryphon Empire is. The backstory for me to write a shipping sequel.
I do worry that I went too dark for the final chapter to Spring Fling, but, I guess I'll see in the comments if that is the case. Kinda funny to me that, though my intent is eventual romance, I write such sad and dark little pieces into the beginning of them. Perhaps it's for the fun of the added drama, or just how I like to write? Probably a bit of both.
To touch briefly on another subject. I both dread and look forward to the next episode of MLP. On one hand, it has Starlight in it, whom I really dislike. If it wasn't for how utterly stupid her backstory is, this wouldn't be the case. But, on the other hand, there is a chance of Trixie showing up! But, it might have Starlight befriending best pony...which I'm not very fond of. If it is Trixie that she befriends though, I suppose I'll just be happy enough to see her again. Even if it comes with a side of Starlight.
I think I've rambled enough. I hope you enjoy the ending to the story and look forward to what I do next.
