Many people call the new season The Season of Ships, and that title is rightfully earned. Ever since season 6 started, the fandom has been given many ships to sail, and that opportunity was taken by quite a bit of fans.
Here are my opinions on the new ships that have sailed this season, and if I think there is actually a possibility that the two could work well in a relationship together.

1: Starburst (Starlight x Sunburst)
Honestly, I have shipped these two since the season 5 finale. When seeing the two become friends again, I got quite excited, thinking it could become a popular ship among the fandom.
And I was right.
Starburst is the OTP of many users I have seen, and there have been a few romance stories written about the two.
This ship is quite adorable. Sunburst is a nerd who can't get enough of knowledge, and Starlight is a reformed villain who also has a passion for magic. The two could be very good companions for each other, and since they both have unfortunate pasts (Starlight more than Sunburst), they could help each other in regards to their struggles as well.
Overall, I think this ship could work very well. The two seem like very compatible partners for each other.
2: Tenderbloom (Tender Taps x Apple Bloom)
These two are quite adorable. I was a bit hesitant to ship this at first, considering I shipped Apple Bloom with Pipsqueak, but this ship quickly grew on me. The two just look so cute together that I couldn't resist.
Normally, I don't get too passionate over a foal ship, but this one changed that.
So... what do I think about their relationship compatibility? Well... I think it could really work. Even though Tender Taps would probably have to travel across Equestria if he becomes a professional dancer, I can see Apple Bloom being willing to wait for him; however long it takes. The two seem like they could be quite loyal to each other, and help carry each other's burdens. Overall, I think they can be great companions for each other.
3: Spember (Spike x Ember)
I honestly think that this ship is pretty cute. Even though I am a Sparity shipper and prefer Sparity over this, I still find this pairing cute.
I think that Spike can help Ember with friendship. Ember has always been taught that dragons shouldn't be friendly, but Spike could probably change her entire outlook of life as a dragon.
So, overall, I think these two can work very well. They can be quite compatible with each other, and Spike could help Ember become friendlier to other dragons. They would be quite adorable as well.
Well, those are my opinions on the ships that have sailed so far! I'll update this blog if another ship sails this season, but I'm pretty sure a new one will.

Why can't I hold these ships? So many! But sparity will always remain my spike otp. I like all these other ships though
I kinda have the same spember idea for spike and garble (as comedic frienimies). I enjoy their interactions and I hope someday they could get a better understanding of each other.
