So... A New Flarity Story Appeared · 3:13am Apr 13th, 2016
I'm always interested in how people write this ship (And so very few people do! Seriously people, I cannot write all of the Flarity.) so imagine my surprise when one of the most prolific writers quietly and without ceremony threw his hat into the ring.
Yes, you read that right. SSAE wrote Flarity.
And the verdict?
This is as fluffy as pancakes made with cumulus clouds.
The way his description reads, I am guessing he plans on thirty chapters, of which he has two out right now, and he seems to have settled on around 4-5k per chapter.
So, if you want a little more Flarity in your life, but without any of that pesky conflict getting in the way of the cute snuggling, I suggest you give it a read.
It's fascinating how you're in favour of two ships for Rarity with two of her friends, both having seemingly opposite personalities even.

SS&E is a very talented writer but I'm still scared of reading anything by him ever since I read some of his more diabolus ex machina depressing stories in the past.
Even now I'm not sure this isnt some kind of build up to a sadfic :(

I would agree, with one exception: like half of SS&E's stories are tagged "Random," and after much consideration, I've come to the conclusion that this is a reflection not of the story content (which is, indeed, sometimes quite random, but not nearly as often as the tags would have you believe), but rather of the way his brain works when he comes up with story ideas (which is by no means a bad thing, merely an observation that is, in itself, rather random).
I was a bit confused by, "Flarity" since I've always written it, "Rarishy". Is that the fanon-official shipname?
Also, the reason I haven't read his story (or any Rarishy/Flarity story for that matter) is because I am reticent to read someone else's interpretation of it beyond SR. But if he's endorsing it... Yay more Rarishy (Flarity?)
3868375 I can understand that, as not everyone does the ship the same way (or even in character). But yes, I don't endorse things I don't like. SSaE went on the extreme cutesy side of the ship, and... I can't find fault in that.
