So, first of all, the votes are in, and it seems you all want to hear more about what is going on. That means that I will need to be making more frequent blog posts about what is going on in my life in general and any stories I or my fellow writers might have or wish to share. Yes, part of my blogging will be about behind the scenes events with An Extended Holiday. Now, however, let us get to the meat of this blog.

So, first things first. Why the long wait for a response?

Well, first. I went on my first true vacation since 2007. This I planned all on my own, paid for by my own pocket from saving money from work, and just having a great time. More on that later (once I upload pictures)

Second part was the more troubling. My computer died. So for a long time, I was using my Dad's old Laptop, and what followed was a Week long adventure of learning about Computers, from hoping it was a bad Memory Card to learning my Motherboard was dead, to having to buy a new Computer, Waiting for it to ship from factory to home, buy a video card because I did not have the proper cords. (Come on, why only have HDMI cords if you know most computers still use the Blue and White plug?) I also learned video cards in the store were cheaper then the monitors.

Find out my power supply Is not powerful enough to run the video card. Learn that the DID have a conversion kit. And finally... get it set up, only to find that all my settings were not saved and I have to start from scratch (ish)

Also, lost all game files too it looks like. Anyway, the important stuff was saved. Hard Drive now have two, and I am going to clean up things as I might purge some games now I don't care or play on any more.

Also... computer is much faster and stronger then my old one it seems.

Oh, why the tags on Birthdays and Celebrations? Why did I tag my story?

Well on the 15th of this month, An Extended Holiday Will be turning two years old on the site. Yes, the story is two years old now, and I am happy to say that it is still going strong.
