There. Now you can continue to easily ignore me while I ramble on about the next few things I'm planning on doing.
First, I recently had this exchange with Bugsy, when we discussed the progress of our respective stories:
[1:45:48 PM] [Me]: Somehow I'm still making progress while interviewing 3 people, prereading for at least 2 consistantly, and writing my own stories alongside.
[1:46:20 PM] Bugsydor: That is rather remarkable, really.
[1:46:47 PM] [Me]: And beyond that, I still have a life, and have already done useful things today.
[1:47:08 PM] Bugsydor: Impressive.
[1:47:19 PM] [Me]: I think I'll eat breakfast now.
(And in lieu of eating, I've decided to craft this post.) I'll just eat when I'm done.
Now I'm one of those people who have shamelessly shared bits of an instant-message conversation for now real reason. I'll just check that box there...
The interviews are coming along. I've started with people that I am at least tangentially familiar with, but I plan to expand my horizons a bit soon, and volunteers are welcomed (though I already have a bit of a queue... somehow).
I have determined that LoaD will be one chapter longer than I had originally planned, because I don't like the idea of having Diamond Tiara make big life choices and have all of her problems resolved too shortly, and publishing an 8k+ word chapter doesn't work around that perfectly.
Lastly, and perhaps most significantly, though maybe not, I'm going to remove some of the content I have posted to this site. I'm not an overly nostalgic person, and I hardly need reminders of what I used to be capable of, so I have considered deleting (though I still have copies) or unpublishing a few of my oldest and most meaningless stories, as well as removing or modifying the relevant blog posts. I have only just decided to go through with this, but I have yet to decide exactly which ones will be handled how. Just don't be surprised, is all. Since I've changed (grown, I should hope) as a writer, I don't really care to have misrepresentative works that few, if any, enjoy anymore.
That could be construed as a dark note, but I think of it as cleaning things up, which usually makes things nicer.
Removing old content? I hope PoSiE isn't on the chopping block. That thing is a national treasure.

...Umm, most of the stories I have read so far are your older content. Gave them high marks as well.
Please, I only ask you, as I do others who contemplate such action, to be content with your older content. WWTSD?

I'm open to the idea of keeping them around if I have reason to, but the stagnant nature of them and that some of them are rather aimless irks me just a bit, but constantly. I'm not saying that "my oldest X number of stories are old and should go", notably. Here's the list:
Contretemps - to be deleted.
Scootaloo's Incident - to be deleted
Rarity versus Cancer Pagurus - to be shamefully unpublished
The Story Which Shall Not Be Named - to be extremely shamefully unpublished
The last two I'll probably share with people who happen to be very interested in my works for some reason, but I think that the first two contribute almost nothing to anything. They were simple exercises to see where I was with my writing abilities at the time, and given that they were written over two years ago, I don't even think they match CMC:P in terms of interestingness or quality (which is saying something
