A wedding!

I adored writing this chapter. It was uplifting and felt great.

There is a but coming but it isn't a flank. But I do feel the series is winding down. Penny has a few more plots in her but it is time to face facts that her story is nearing completion. Or at least, the story of her becoming a pony and finding a new life is.

some times it is best to let a story come to a end then to have it die a painful death.

Her story never seemed to be on the epic path that Mr. Silver has set for Silver and Night Watch, and that is fine.

In Japanese soap operas / serial dramas, an occasional and guilty pleasure, a notable difference to their western counterpart is that the stories of the characters do not go on endlessly. Rather, they will take a season and tell a story about people that are experiencing something extraordinary, how they deal with it, and how they then go on living, having learned whatever lessons were to be learned from that period of their lives. Then the show moves on to another set of characters.

It's been a joy reading about Penny and her Two Wives, perfect title for a goofy romcom there, and if things wind down with the possibility of visiting them again at more key points in their lives, I can accept that. As long as there is a Damaged telling stories about engaging characters, I'll happily read along and toss in my opinions as long as they are welcome.

Hope this was in some way helpful. I really do enjoy reading your work.
