I nearly died of Diabeetus, that baby was so adorable. Thinking about it, Flurry Heart can exist in my TOML/ACOF/ACTF storyline, I'll just say she never showed up
This is almost certainly the last season of pony. I'm sure it'll be incredible, and when it's done, I'll read the comics I'm saving to keep the story alive and I'll keep on writing. By the time pony is finally starting to fade even the tiniest bit, I'll probably be off to the US Navy. But ponies will always have a special place in my heart.

Well, there was a contract the show had to keep going on till 2020. Not sure if it'll keep in effect, but given the movie, we might get one or two more seasons.

What is this contract? First I've heard of it
I figure there going for ten seasons. Hasbrouck knows a money maker and MLP is that. A money maker. When the toys stop selling, the show will end. Or unless Disney buys Hasbro.
