Question about Crystal Ponies

Hey, do you guys think that when you wound a crystal pony, like slam something like a hammer against their leg, will it shatter or crack? How durable are their bodies compared to normal ponies? Also, (Inserts Ben Affleck Batman voice) Do they bleed? Trying to figure that out so It can help me write The Arrogance of Man with them.

Their skin is probably the toughest, like an exo-skeleton armor layering on top of their actual skin, while all the fleshy blood is under neath that. Did that help?

I hate to used this as example, but you know those vampire in Twilight series. They where made of crystal and it took a lot to break them so the humanized crystal ponies would have to be just as tough as them. They could crack but that would be strong physical pressure to do something like that they have sparkle diamond like blood, but that a matter of perspective. the crystal ponies themselves when they first appear was more fleshly and dull skin tone. They should be more drain out in that case with the exception of their eyes with the different highlight shape.

3825371 Maybe magic that's strong enough can pierce through them? Obviously a Transmutant might have enough strength to break them or cause cracks. Damn, I wish the writers of the series made it clear on their durability.
