Writing is hard. Being forgetful is harder. So, write everything down... and maybe someday, order it. Maybe someday, hit that Publish button.

    ...welp.

I haven't gotten the feedback I've needed from the needed people yet, but that's not stopping me. Truth be told, this is a bad day for me coming online - my mood's shot, and I submitted the story for review like... yesterday; it's a little too early for me to think thing's go through like...

    Behold: Pokémon Headcanon, Part 1?

Or rather, little bits and pieces of it that I'm copying over from my offline Wordpad thing because- okay, fine, I'll be honest: I'm getting internet soon, but as I'm used to going to and from the public library for my free internet access, I'm still going to do so in order to stay in shape. To that end, I carry around a little 6GB flash drive around my neck, and on it I have a Windows Briefcase.

    Plans! I have them.

This might actually come as a shock, but now that I'm sure I can reach goals I set for myself (25,000 words in 5 chapters in the case of the first story I've ever submitted here); I have... well, plans.

    Very, very ambitious plans.

1.) Finish An Old World, A New Regime

    This is news.

I've been poking around, making sure I'm not copying anyone (unless there's not much choice, like if I'm incorporating a backstory that needs to be outlined).

Phenos' Guide to Changelings (Revision 1.1)

First blog post because having everything on my dropbox, with no one to critique it, is getting lonely.

...you get the idea. And now I'm being told I'm doing it wrong - which is okay, because the co-author who's telling me this is pretty nice. I'm just not going to up and publish the crossover stuff until the people who need to view it do so and give me the okay - not that it'll stop me from trying to get the actual story published.

On a slightly related note, I've been doing some thinking. A dangerous profession, I know. Maybe... maybe I should actually switch NW/NR to 'cancelled' instead of 'on hiatus.' My silly ideas are great, but the drive to keep writing that has burned its way out like a meteor far smaller than the one in Red/Blue Rescue Team should have.

What do you guys think?

Do whatever you want to do. The most important thing with writing is that you are having fun.

Its not much, but thats all the advice I can give.

3811611 Thanks. It's just... hard, sometimes. Writing is fun, but actually writing something that conforms to something else is hard. Difficult things usually aren't very fun, y'know?

Its not always, no, that is true.

Turning over a new leaf is definitly a posibility if you feel like thats the option though. If something is not fun anymore, drop it and start anew. I stopped writing for one of my stories for well over a year, because I was not having fun with it anymore.
