I haven't gotten the feedback I've needed from the needed people yet, but that's not stopping me. Truth be told, this is a bad day for me coming online - my mood's shot, and I submitted the story for review like... yesterday; it's a little too early for me to think thing's go through like...
*looks down at his claws and the fact he can't snap them*
...you get the idea. And now I'm being told I'm doing it wrong - which is okay, because the co-author who's telling me this is pretty nice. I'm just not going to up and publish the crossover stuff until the people who need to view it do so and give me the okay - not that it'll stop me from trying to get the actual story published.
On a slightly related note, I've been doing some thinking. A dangerous profession, I know. Maybe... maybe I should actually switch NW/NR to 'cancelled' instead of 'on hiatus.' My silly ideas are great, but the drive to keep writing that has burned its way out like a meteor far smaller than the one in Red/Blue Rescue Team should have.
What do you guys think?
Do whatever you want to do. The most important thing with writing is that you are having fun.
Its not much, but thats all the advice I can give.
3811611 Thanks. It's just... hard, sometimes. Writing is fun, but actually writing something that conforms to something else is hard. Difficult things usually aren't very fun, y'know?

Its not always, no, that is true.
Turning over a new leaf is definitly a posibility if you feel like thats the option though. If something is not fun anymore, drop it and start anew. I stopped writing for one of my stories for well over a year, because I was not having fun with it anymore.
