Taking a Break from Writing · 1:18am Mar 16th, 2016
Yeah I've been starting to burn myself out with writing and with my senior project and job hunting sitting on my shoulders I realized that things are becoming a tad stressful. Not only that I need to time to think about where Last of My Kind should go and how I can jump start Lazarus: The Rise of Man.
I don't know how long I'll be gone for, I still plan to hop in and chat with people but I will not be doing any actual work in regards to my stories. I could be gone for a week or so, or maybe a month. Who knows.
A healthy reminder that I'm not leaving for good, just taking a short breather.
Huff more silver paint! I hear that helps!
Seriously though, have a good break! It's always good to take time out when you need it.
Everyone does need a rest every once in a while.
What's your project on? I might be able to give you some resource ideas.

It's an independent study. I have to develop a professional looking comic book adaptation of Jack and the Beanstalk Nothing really academic.
3810427 well then, I guess I can't help. Can't draw for shit. Also, an engineer. That said, unless it has to be a close representation, I might still be able to bounce some ideas.
Is it supposed to just be a direct translation from text to comic, or can it be in a different sort of setting, just borrowing the story?
It's good to catch it before you do burn out.
Hey, take care of real life first. Trust me, we'll still be here when you get back.
