Rumors of my death were only slightly exaggerated. · 4:39am Mar 11th, 2016
A bit late on this, but meh.
So, I've been down for about three weeks with a sinus infection. No work, barely awake for more than three hours at a time, ya know, that fun stuff. One that cleared, my throat then decided to die next. Once that was almost cleared, I coughed and sneezed enough to badly pull a muscle.
Been a great month.
So yeah, I am behind on writing due to this, going to try to play catch up now. I also may have taken the last week to get over some gaming urges I had.
Went through XCOM 2, a much shorter experience then I expected. But, my last few playthroughs of XCOM 1 were with the Long War Mod, so that makes sense.
Then I tried a bit of Europa Universalis. Sadly, the last two expansions are useless to me, as they further work on diplomacy and reducing the ability to conquer. Since conquering is the main thing I enjoyed in the game, I didn't play for long, but I got Equestria spread over most of Africa before stopping.
Final, and current game is Disgaea PC, Fun old JRPG they just brought over to the comp. You can literally get up to level 9999 and do over a million damage...I'm at level 28 after over 20 hours of play...kinda forgot just how big of a time sink JRPG's are. Still playing off and on, but obsession is sated for now.
So, yeah, sorry. Getting back to writing now, hoping for the Mauxie to be up sometime next week, then onto everything I said I was going to do this year.
Huzzah, welcome back.
Sorry to hear you had a tough month, glad to hear you are doing better!

Shush, don't you have your own story to return to?!

I have a story?
Oh, right!
I'll get right on that.

Haha, I love your and Phaoray's Trixie stories. I can be patient. Life may be slowly killing us all, though, so don't take too long.
Hey glad your still alive, was about to hire a necromancer to rise you up from the grave.
Also thanks for introducing Europa Universalis to me. I love strategy games and this one is a real beast. It's a whole league on its own compared to galactic civilzation, Total war and Sid Meirers Civilization. And boy do I love the challenge. So far I have started as Portugal it's year 1465 and I have colonized succesfully one colony and is about to colonize one of the ABC islands. Forgot which one.
My next challenge after finishing playing with the Portuguese is play as Holland starting from 1444. I want to see if the game goes so far as to introduce the 80 year wars which is very important moment not only in my own Country but actually it's only important one in history as whole it was a war for freedom of religion as well eventually the return of democracy in the world in the form of a republic which didn't stood so well in a monarchy ruled Europe. And that was all in the 16th century. It would eventually end up into the glorious revolution for England and even into the French Revolution. There are even small traces of it that would lead to the American Revolution.
Overall if the 80 years wars never happened the entire world would have been a different place.
