F-f-featured? What? I logged into my account to see 726 friggin' notifications...
I admit, I was not expecting that at all, though it is certainly not unwelcome. However, there are a few warnings that I must issue...
The first chapter was rushed due to my need to catch a flight, and as a result, I did not think the plot out as well as I could have. There are quite a few blanks that need to be filled out, but I shall deal with them accordingly.
But! I have crossed the Rubicon. I just got off my flight and I'm exhausted, but exhilarated at the same time. Work on The White Rider will resume ASAP, though it will likely be preceded by a few necessary edits to the first chapter. As a few readers have pointed out, Gandalf's immediate recognition of Canterlot as the home of Luna and Celly conflicts with some of the plots inferences. That is a discrepancy that needs to be adjusted. Also, I felt that my writing was lacking in some areas, as was the format. There's an ENTER key, and I failed to use it to the fullest...
Rest assured, I'll write this story to the best of my limited ability, and I will do so as quickly as possible. It is currently 2:00 AM in the U.S. and I will probably experience jet lag, but I will try to fight it, like Gandalf's last stand against Durin's Bane.
And, to all the readers who have determined Gandalf as Starswirl...
(mischievous giggles)...You will see.

Great fan fiction. But there's still the whole return of Morgoth aka the true and original Dark Lord to deal with, but not for a very long (may not need to mention) time yet, and not even Gandalf could have predicted his return.
But Gandalf could say "Sauron is defeated, but I fear evil may one day return to Middle Earth in some shape or form."
"Like what?" someone could ask him
"A new Dark Lord perhaps, or the return of an old Dark Lord."
Take your time! Work on it until it meets your own standards.

The first four or so are based on views (how many a chapter has gotten, and how fast since it's been uploaded). The other more recent ones are a different matter.
Anyway, you might've noticed that White Rider slowly climbed up, starting at slot 4, then slot 3, etc...
It basically means it's currently the story (or chapter) that has gotten the most views in the past <how many hours it takes for it to reload with new stories>.
EDIT: Then again, I may be completely, horribly wrong. I didn't design said box, after all.
