So. How's everybody doing? Alright? Okay? Good-ish?
That's good. That's good. Well guys, got something to tell ya. Maybe you'll like it. Maybe you'll fangirl/ fanboy over it, maybe while you're reading this right now I'm filling you with suspense and your desperately paying attention to every word I've typed out right now at this exact moment.
That's good. I enjoy the suspense. Don't judge, Discord has his weird ways of entertainment, I have mine.
Anyway. This post is about A Long Journey Ahead. And also a few other things.
So this Spike story as I had planned was supposed to last only about 7-8 chapters, maybe even bordering on the Five I currently have, had things gone as I planned. They didn't. So after reading multiple comments, factoring in things differently, and considering what would be needed to clarify things and make this a good story, that is obviously not going to happen. I decided this like two months ago, but I'm telling you guys this now because I'm bored, I've got an exam next week which I'll be leaving to study for and felt like saying something before I bail for the week.
Anyway, don't leave. I'm not done yet. Don't touch that mouse, touch screen or whatever robot/ device you're using to read this yet.
Aside from Spike's relationship with the variety of characters in Baltimare and it's community, I'd like you guys to ask me any question you'd like to see covered in later chapters. Because in a few cases I haven't considered every possible thing that may or may not occur. Like how Twilight's parents and brother, sister-in-law, and others have taken this.. Spike's sudden departure. That will take some time to getting to. Luna and Celestia? Probably a few chapters later I'll talk about it.
Reasons why Twilight Sparkle, the master of concern and freaking out (tho much calmer now), hasn't flipped her lid about Spike leaving? That will be explained later. Who is Etat de Propeté her relationship with Spike and why is she important? Will also be explained.
So aside from Spike and his journey, let me know if there are things, questions, comments you want to make clear, in this post. Go ahead and ask, because there were a few comments that made me want to extend this story just to cover them. Some I hadn't even considered till people mentioned it.
In conclusion: Ask away, because the more questions you ask that I haven't thought about the more I can work to getting on that later. I'll be back later to check. Questions on the mane 6 and how each one of them reacted to Spike leaving or how Ponyville in general took his departure can be asked as well.
