I keep seeing sites sell out so they can get more money from ads or sponsors. YouTube is forcing content creators off the site in preparation for YouTube Red where users will have to pay a subscription fee to view premium content.
Imgur is forcing users to share content only on its site and Reddit. Reddit and 4Chan have been sellouts for a while now. I honestly feel like any site that gets a significant amount of traffic these days is destined to sell out to some major corporation just so they can make a quick buck.
Pretty soon everything is going to be owned by Google. There isn't going to be free enterprise. Our two choices will be Google and oh look more Google. And maybe Apple or Microsoft if Google doesn't buy them too. But let's not forget who owns shares in Google and all of these companies; Disney.

3764233 I am not sure if Nintendo bought Sega or not, but Sega has been definitely been on Nintendo's life support for over 10 years. Any company would do better than Konami except for Modern Disney. It feels like Disney already bought Konami.
3766141 The only thing I don't like about modern Disney is the hundred plus sequels it has made to all of its classic films which never really needed sequels to begin with. That being said, I did enjoy all of the Lion King sequels, the Aladdin sequels, and Lilo and Stitch sequels. The Little Mermaid sequels were pretty decent as well. I just wish Disney would do more animated films and stop trying to compete with DreamWorks or something with 3D animation.
3766171 All those sequels you liked are good. I also like The Rescuers Down Under 1990. But there are some Disney sequels that are so bad that their existence taints Disney's image like The Hunchback Of Notre Dame 2 2002, Fantasia 2000, and Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens. I will never forgive Disney for cancelling Gargoyles and Sonic SATAM and killing Star Wars.
3766598 I haven't seen The Force Awakens so I don't know. But I never cared much for the prequels. The only Star Wars films that I like are the original three.

3861003 I swear that we are becoming more like the book 1984 every day. Especially the part which describes how most everything is run by the government and people are always being watched by cameras. Well, just switch out the government for major corporations and you've got the current reality. Except that in 1984 the government and corporations were kind of the same thing, working under the same jurisdiction. And in that case, we've got ourselves a nice 1984 reality starting now and getting more and more like it over time. :/
