Alterations and What not. · 3:58pm Jan 30th, 2016
Never sure which story to tag these to, if anything. I often tend to say a little about each of my stories in these. 
Near the end of the month, so, time to keep to my promise of at least one blog of the month.
I was surprised I kept to my timeline for the Gryphon Empire chapter. Mainly because I spent an entire week writing about 17 pages of details on all of the acts to my Mauxie story. Plans are now to have 3 one-shots that show events prior to "Maud's Boulder Holder" and two after it. I just hope I don't go overboard on the story lengths.
The story will span from shortly after Sunset came to Canterlot High *As who knows how long she took to get used to the world at first, right?*, to shortly after the Equestrian Games. Admittedly, the Equestrian Games only plays a tiny part in the last chapter.
I am also altering plans slightly. My next project will be the first act of the Mauxie series, then either the next Gryphon empire chapter, or, finally, altering Hopes and Follies a little to prepare for the sequel. Yeah, Hopes keeps getting pushed here and there, but, the sequel is coming. I am just more interested in getting my other two projects along more/finished.
Another part of the reason for the Mauxie going first is that I am getting a cover art done on it from IJAb.
So, I've edited for years, commented on stories, wrote stories, bought merchandise in one form or another, and now, commissioned art. I feel secure in my little contributions to the fandom. 
All that's left to do is finish my stories and I can see if I want to continue to create or not. I do this more for fun, and to see what people think of what I do *validation is a wonderful thing after all*.
Ironically, I think the Mauxie story will be the only one completely finished of my new projects for the year. Or at least the only one I am aiming to finish. I know for a fact that the Gryphon Empire and Hopes sequel's are not, unless something very unusual happens.
Off to play some D+D with friends, I shall see you all another time.

Well, I'll hold out hope that the Hopes and Follies sequel at least makes an appearance before the end of the year... I look forward to the Mauxie, too.
3723639 Heh, I can't delay it much more. I am not intentionally delaying it, but it's just what's happening. My project plate and reasons for delaying are dwindling, I expect the first chapter to be out before April at the latest.
