...where I add another 500 or so words to Alicorn Switcheroo.
Yeah yeah...I know. A lot of folk have assumed AS to be dead in the water. And...for a time, they weren't wrong. It's been difficult to work up the want to work on it recently. I apologize for that. It's not fair to you nor myself that my mental impairment from my illness has slowed my production down this much. I'm still writing, and writing a lot, honestly. I just haven't been able to write for the fics I have and now I have loads of new things in the works.
But I'm trying to change that. I want to get Alicorn Switcheroo done. So I'm trying to be mindful of my free time. Keeping my mind on fics like AS or Twilight's Monster, A Dazzling Sunset, We Two Queens, Spicy Tuna Roll, etc and putting my time toward them. It's hard though. My health issues cause a lot of mental fog and cognitive degradation. It's sort of like having a fever, all the time. It doesn't go away or get better and my energy levels are a third or less than they once were. I have a bunch of appointments with specialists lined up, and we've already started looking into treatments, but we'll just have to see how that works out.
Fingers crossed, it works and I can actually think again. That should bump my production back up to the level they were at back in 2013-2014. If I can keep focused, I think this chapter might be ready to head to the editor in a few weeks.

[EDIT]: I forgot to mention that as of this new set of 500-ish words, Alicorn Switcheroo chapter 5 is now right at 3K words total. Scene 1 is basically done.
