Random Ramblings XXXI - One Year · 1:47am Jan 21st, 2016
Today, it has been exactly one year – 365 days – since I submitted my first story to this site. That story is of course Ponyville Holds An Election.
Since then, I've posted a couple of moderately popular yet well-received Sunset Shimmer stories and some rather less popular stories starring other characters. In the process, I somehow managed to pick up small cadre of followers who – far be it for me to understand why – genuinely look forward to my work. Hey, I'm amazed and elated that anyone acknowledges me at all. Through it all, I've had some wonderful conversations with people on this site.
In honour of this auspicious date, I've written and submitted an all-new story (yes, it's currently unpublished, but I've submitted it for approval). Once again it stars Mayor Mare, whom I really enjoy writing about. I can't exactly say it's good, seeing as it HAD to be completed no later than today and I ran out of steam towards the end, but I tried my best to make it the best story I could.
I apologize for not having Burrito 3.0 completed yet. I've given it a basic outline, but I'm not happy with what I have. That may be because I outlined it – "Sunset" and "Sonata" both happened organically. I swear I'll get it done somehow at some point.
