Got rejected by EQD- which I find oddly amusing · 9:01pm Jan 3rd, 2016
So I submitted Kingdom of Avia and later Bad Luck for a Bad Manager to EQD- got rejected, and they actually gave a legit reason this time! (Though I suspect they didn't read beyond the first chapter for both stories).
I'm probably going to submit all my currently-published stories as time goes on, and get rejected each time- I'm keeping score!
(And yes, I know how weird that sounds! But let me have my fun, eh?)
*EDIT* Thieves' Gala got rejected- no surprise there because the story springs off of KoA, which they didn't like. But they were surprisingly complimentary (at least for EQD) this time.
Next up, Survive the Everfree. Can't wait to see the rejection letter!
The last one I submit will be Dr. Bobtail, and after they reject that I can see what trends are there for all the stories and improve them.
Done the same thing. I even tried to post the same story several times!
3661891 EQD comes off as kind of elitist if you ask me. And they seem to have strong dislike for OCs, even well-written, well-characterized ones. Which is weird.
Hope you eventually get one of your stories accepted there though!
