    Hey everyone!

That's right, I'm still here! I've been logging on nearly every day, and reading a few stories here and there.

I just haven't had much to blog about lately that's MLP related. I heard the news that season 9 will be the last. And to be honest, I'm okay with it. Everything has to end eventually, and trying to drag it out longer will only lead to terrible things! :rainbowlaugh:

    No explanation needed. :rainbowlaugh:

Just thought of this, and I had to make it.

So, I should probably explain why I disappeared.

First, I'd like to apologise to all of my friends that I carelessly left hanging in the wind here on this site. It definitely wasn't a nice thing to do, and I regret it immensely.

A lot has happened in the 2+ years I was gone, but the biggest thing to happen is that I was diagnosed with high functioning autism.

One of the rule updates has me worried. · 11:22am Dec 20th, 2015

• Following an excessive number of users is not allowed, nor is any behavior that rewards users for following you. Following is for users to use because they want to see updates in their feed, not as a reward or otherwise.

I follow 1,725 people, which is a lot of people. But I also track 2,783 stories.

I really do follow people because I wish to read more stories from them if/when they post more, I just hope I don't get mistaken as someone who follows people for the sake of following people...

That rule is fucked up bro. I follow over 5000 people.

I don't know man, and another one of the rules kind of makes making friends hard here. Almost everyone I consider a friend here I started to talk to after thanking them on their user page so...damn.

This rule isn't new; it has been around for as long as I've been around. I personally know someone whose initial run-in with the mods was because they made one of those accounts whose primary directive was to follow a bunch of people.

If you haven't been talked to by the mods yet, you won't. There's no "only follow x number of users" rule; it's "don't follow a bunch of users in short succession, to the point where we know you're following just for the sake of following and not out of any desire to see more content from this user." You have no reason to worry because you haven't broken any rules.

I read something somewhere where a mod gave an example of 100 users a day on a semi-frequent basis, though even that has to be thoroughly investigated for any action to be taken; you don't have a reason to worry at all.

I only see 3000. :raritywink:

What rule are you referencing?

3631154

Following an excessive number of users is not allowed, nor is any behavior that rewards users for following you. Following is for users to use because they want to see updates in their feed, not as a reward or otherwise.

The last part of this one is where I return a follow which they are thankful for and tends to begin a conversation. There was also another one, but I don't want to go through all the rules to find the particular sentence that involves it.

Edit: :facehoof: I just realized I reused the rule he was pointing out.

3631162
Admittedly, I have never been spoken to about my list of banned users I follow; there isn't a high enough number of banned users for me to generate a high amount of traffic and if a user is un-banned, I tend to notice their triumphant return blog post and remove them from the list, but it does not appear to be an intended function of the follow system. Fascinating stuff.

... Please don't tell knighty on me. :raritydespair:

3631183 I don't really talk to the mods. I find that the less they notice me the better. It saves them time on checking to make sure I'm following the rules and makes it so I'm not too nervous to even post a story. :facehoof: I wrote that in a really confusing way, didn't I?

Look for dead accounts, people you don't know, and banned people. Unfollow them and only track stories. :moustache:

3630973 so that's why you never see my blogs, you have a clogged up feed. :rainbowwild:

It might be talking about following too many people in one day.

Reminds me of the fifth person to follow me on this site. 'A follower', banned for following.

R.I.P. buddy. ;_;

Who gives a shit? Honestly?

3631152 3631393 Wasn't his name Epicdonuts, or Tainteddonuts... or something like that?
Had a frosted donut as his avitar

3631197
I was thinking about doing that.

3631323
That's what I'm thinking now, too.

3631393
That's actually the friend I was talking about. I have her number and text her from time to time. She had multiple accounts, all of whom are banned now. A Follower was only her first account, and she was eventually permanently banned on all accounts for other reasons.

3631942
I think you're referring to epicdonus, though he's not who I was referring to.

3631987 He had one, account, I think that had over 10k people he was following...
Or am I thinking of someone else?

3632089
I've also got epicdonus1123 BOT, but not that many followers.

3631204 I follow like, 5000 people.:twilightsheepish::rainbowlaugh:
