Am I the only one who noticed she gave little to practically no statistical or even real legitimate reasons as to why dogs are better than cats?

The only time a dog is better than a cat is:

A- it's properly trained. Meaning no unnecessary baring at the smallest most inconsequential thing. No messing things up. Not destroying every toy they get. No jumping up on people and especially no face licking.

B- they have to be trained for a specific thing. Guard dog, working dog, dog to help invalids.

C- all small dogs are useless, get a cat. Cats are so much less annoying then small dogs. Anyone who owns a small dog is pretty much an idiot. They're bucking useless.

D- only trained dogs are good for personal security. Seriously the dogs I have are pretty much useless in that regard. Unless you count them licking a burglar to death.

E- cats are far less expansive to take care of. Seriously the amount of money put into taking care of these dogs' basic needs. Yeeesh.

Dogs are sad when you're gone? That's supposed to be a good thing? Am I supposed to be happy that my pet is miserable without me? Is she trying to appeal to sadists or something?

Dogs never tell her to smile more? Look, if cats were actually able to tell a person to smile more, then I think the fact that cats could talk would put them head and shoulders above dogs.

Yeah...I'm not sure what the point of that video was.

3625140 There are a lot of poorly researched "facts" if its your personal opinion. I'm not saying that you shouldn't have that opinion, but a good portion of that is wrong or misinformed.
The first one I agree with, the second one is not very true. Dogs have a natural instinct to protect their 'pack', which would be your family. But you would have to train for the other things like seeing eye dogs, and therapy dogs. That much is true. Then there's the next one. Honestly, I had to face palm at this. With what breed of small dog do you have experience with? Chihuahua? Most small breeds are useful. Dochsaunds are bred to be Earth Dogs, or rodent hunters. Same with most small breeds. Designer breeds are useless, though. So I agree on that point.
The next on personal security, like I explained before. Not very true. It all depends on what kind of security. Home protection is little to no training. Then more sophisticated protection is, depending on the animal, could take a lot or a little. It all depends on the job and the dog.
And finally the cost. Yes it's true that some dogs are more high maintenance than cats, but when you add it up, for cats you have to buy food, and litter. Dogs you just have to buy food and a house or two depending on local animal control laws(for the shelter).
No, don't be upset with what I stated. I am merely trying to help inform you as to help keep your opinions informed. Sorry if I offended you at all.
