And so "Interrogation", the third chapter of Altered Visage, has arrived. Sorry about that cliffhanger. Not really sorry, though, I just felt it would be polite to say so.
The previous two chapters had very little modifications made to them at all before I posted them beyond some proofreading changes. This is the first chapter to receive any actual changes in response to my thoughts on the story changing and some comments made, though the changes in this chapter are still very minor.
Much like most of the early chapters, I had written this around December of 2014, give or take a month or so. It was during the writing of this chapter that my plans for the story changed from a relatively short, lighter story of around half a dozen chapters into the considerably larger, darker story. It is also the point where I decided I would actually use Queen Chrysalis in the story, though you certainly don't find her in this chapter, but you do get to see a small amount of the influence her actions have had. More on that in a later chapter.
As far as concerns about this chapter, I don't really have anything in particular that worries me when it comes to how it will be received. I figured that if the second chapter was well received, then this one would likely be fine too.
